Hemp linen table cloth - Print 1/7Oct19

250 x 146 cm

A botanically printed and dyed hemp linen cloth with a distressed look and raw edges. Contact and resist prints have been made off a variety of eucalyptus, geranium, and wild rosemary, with interesting negative spaces made by geranium blooms and the buds of flowering gum.  The base colour of the cloth is grey with a faded look and some obvious fold marks.  The combination makes for an earthy look that would complement most table settings.

This piece would also be suitable as a bed throw and would cover a king size bed from side to side with a small drape.

Finished with a a raw edge, secured with a double row of stitching.

Print 1/7Oct19 features various eucalyptus foliage, buds and bark, wild rosemary, geranium leaves and buds.
