Dupioni silk scarf - Print 1/29Jan20
Size 46 x 133
Dupioni silk scarf botanically printed on a pale coppery base silk, with great variation along the length. The bottom end of the scarf is covered in the prints off dry skins of onion, ranging from olive green to dark copper. This surface design morphs into a combination of rusty orange tapered leaves of eucalyptus and blombos spikes. Tie marks are obvious on this end of the scarf. The onion skin print is a favourite that I keep coming back to. It positively glows in the sunlight.
Finished with a 1.5 mm rolled hem.
Print 1/29Jan20 features eucalyptus, blombos and onion skins.
