A summer welcome with an underwater feel.  Light and creamy with natural marks in a range of greys and rust. This king size hemp linen bed throw is botanically printed with an invasive plant, the Port Jackson, found in the vlei and many open plots in the area.  It was introduced to stabilise coastal dunes (after they were denuded of indigenous plants) but have unfortunately become the quickest growing pioneer plant to settle into any area cleared of vegetation or burned.  Haphazard twisted leaves and foliage are reminiscent of seaweed moving in the current. 

This piece is large and long enough for a extra length king sized bed.

Finished with a 3 cm hem and mitered corners.
